Spanish Travels
In this project we got into groups and we wrote our own play in Spanish about one of the Spanish topics that we learned. What we did was transportation and our play was how Tia fell asleep and and dreamed about us being lost in Durango Spain and we have to find our way back. This was a really fun project and I got to master transportation in Spanish.
Reflection
For this project my group really had to research a lot about each place we were in the skit. We had to look a lot into Durango, Spain, and Durango Mexico. We had to look at transportation a lot and all the ways people get around. We needed prices for planes, buses, and bikes and we needed to see the distances form each destonation. We also had to study the vocabulary which was an important to this whole thing. We had to do a lot of transportation vocabulary like money, vehicles, and different places. We needed words to talk to each other too so we studied conversation words for the skit. I think we could have done better with refining and writing the skit; but I don't think it's the worst thing we did. Definitely the refining part was harder for us then writing the play. We just couldn't really get a lot of refining down with everything throughout the making of the play. We really struggled memorizing the play and almost didn't get it done in time. It was really hard for us to get the whole consept with memorizing the play but we got it done and the play was pretty good.
Throughout this project I learned a lot on doing conversation and knowing about transportation. Also it was very cool to learn to speek spanish in public to other people besides my friends. This really helped my learn more about trasportation in spanish and all the different ways you could travel in different countries. I think this sparked a new intrest in traveling to different countries from this and I feel more confident traveling to spanish speaking countries.
